Allied Telesyn’s AT-2701FX is the answer for those fiber adapters that support Wake on LAN (WOL) for either PCI 2.1 or PCI 2.2 systems but not both. Allied Telesyn’s NICs support WOL through the PCI 2.2 bus and support PCI 2.1 WOL via external cables. Resistant to signal degradation, snooping, and interference, the AT-2701FX is an ideal solution for networks requiring protection from electrical interference and hackers. The small footprint together with the low-profile option of the AT-2701FX make this product a perfect choice for PCs equipped with small desktop solutions.

The AT-2700 series of 10/100 fast Ethernet adapter cards supports PC97 & PC98 standards, including ACPI, OnNow power management & DMI network management s. The cards are also compliant with the industry standard NetPC specification and are PCI Bus Version 2.1 compatible.
The AT-2700TX card supports both Ethernet and fast Ethernet standards and can be connected to any 10Mbps or 100Mbps network device without the need to change drivers. The card will automatically select the fastest possible network speed for maximum data transfer.
The AT-2700FX cards support the 100FX fiber specification and are perfectly suited to environments that require greater security; immunity from electromagnetic noise and for extended segment distances. Typical of these are network backbones and widely-spaced university campuses.
Five versions of the AT-2700 card are available; the AT-2700T X supports UTP only, the AT-2700FX supports fiber with ST, SC, MT-RJ or VF45 connectors.
