SIIG’s DP SATA 6Gb/s PCIe i/e is a high performance SATA host controller designed to add two (internal or external) Serial ATA 6Gb/s and one internal Parallel ATA channels to your PCIe-equipped computer. The SATA connectors allow connecting up to 2 hard disks - internal, external (eSATA) or mixed. This controller delivers data transfer rates up to 6Gb/s for SATA and 150Mb/s for PATA connectors and supports RAID 0 (stripe) and RAID 1 (mirror) modes on the SATA hard disk drives, as well as ATA and ATAPI commands. The DP SATA 6Gb/s PCIe i/e host controller is the ideal solution to enable fast, large volume data transferring for your bandwidth-hungry applications.
The DP SATA 6Gb/s PCIe i/e host controller is fully compliant with PCI Express Base Specification Revision 2.0, Serial ATA specification revision 3.0, is FCC Class B (DoC) and CE regulatory approved and RoHS-compliant. It supports a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG’s.
