The Dell™ Remote Access Card DRAC5 is a systems management hardware and software solutions designed to provide remote management capabilities for your Dell Server. The DRAC5 card manages your servers remotely from anywhere in the world over an IP connection. The virtual media lets you install software from anywhere in encrypted form. The OS-independent continuous video console has last screen capture and watches your server reboot.
 
This feature allows you to monitor status of remote server even during a reboot. It also features Active Directory authentication and authorization for enhanced security. It’s independently powered - restart a cold server and power off a server remotely. So you can reboot a down server from home. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
